We recognise the financial challenges faced by pensioners and extend significant discounts for accessing the services offered by the practitioners who work from MMC. To provide accessibility to quality healthcare for the elderly and those with chronic conditions the GPs working from our site choose to bulk-bill health assessments and quarterly care plans for those who have registered with MMC for MyMedicare.
For your convenience, if your Medicare details are linked to your bank account, your rebate can be swiftly processed post-consultation. Please ensure your Medicare details are up to date.
All appointments must be paid for on the day of visit.

Please note: long appointments are stepped to ensure those using less time pay less even though the same rebate applies. It remains most economical to book the time you need.
Non-attendances with less than 2 business hours’ notice will be charged at the full fee for the booked appointment.
Fees are subject to change without warning. EFTPOS surcharges are added to all EFT transactions.

Department of Veteran Affairs: gold card only bulk billed providing CVC program compliance.
Workers Compensation: all initial consultations are to be paid for by the patient at the time of service. We will provide a receipt so that you can be reimbursed directly from your insurer. Once a claim number is approved, your WC company will be billed. Please note: if during your WC consultation you seek assistance for matters NOT related to your WC claim, a separate private fee will be charged relevant to your service.
Telehealth
Telehealth consultations are charged at the same fees and rebates as their face to face equivalents with the added convenience of attending from a place of your choosing. To access the highest rebate available for Telehealth Consultations 20 minutes and longer, you must be registered with MMC for MyMedicare. Find out more and how to register here. When accessing the convenience of Telehealth services, we ask that you ensure you have privacy and quiet so that you are able to give full attention to your clinician.

Non-Attendance / Late Cancellation Policies
At MMC we commit to supporting exceptional care for the community. To ensure timely access for all, we enforce a non-attendance policy.
While we understand unforeseen circumstances may arise, non-attendance impacts your health outcomes and others’ access to care.
A non-attendance fee equal to the appointment fee will apply if appointments are not cancelled within 2 business hours’ of the scheduled time. Further appointments won’t be offered until the fee is paid. DVA and workers compensation insurers do not pay non-attendance fees. Patients who miss these appointments are responsible for the resultant non-attendance fee.

Accounts Policy
Please be aware of the policy on accounts for all services:
Accounts are NOT offered. Once the service is supplied, payment is expected and appreciated. Quality care cannot be provided without adequate payment for services.
If the fee is not paid on the date of service an administration fee of $20 incl GST is added to your invoice and you will be unable to make appointments or access further services until the invoice is paid in full.
People with fees outstanding after 30 days will no longer be offered services by any of the health professionals that work from MMC.
