Dr Katherine Hanks is a General Practitioner who enjoys caring for people of all ages, from babies and children through to adults, and is pleased to be providing care to individuals and families in the Mayfield community.
She has a strong interest in children’s health, women’s health, and sexual health, and is experienced in providing long-term, relationship-based care for individuals and families.
She is an experienced IUD (Mirena) and Implanon inserter and has completed a Diploma of Child Health, in addition to being a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Katherine is neurodiversity-affirming and welcomes people from diverse backgrounds, including members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and the LGBTQI+ community.
Outside of work, Dr Katherine enjoys spending time with her children, good coffee, and walking along the beach.
